The campaign "Chose Life Not Drugs" communicates that the destructive effects of illicit drugs concern us all. Their use harms individuals, families and society at large. Drugs control the body and mind of individual consumers and teenagers and young adults are particularly vulnerable to using illicit drugs. The prevalence of drug use among young people is more than twice as high as that among the general population. At this age, peer pressure to experiment with illicit drugs can be strong and self-esteem is often low. Also, those who take drugs tend to be either misinformed or insufficiently aware of the health risks involved. This campaign reaches out to young people, who often talk about the "highs" induced by illicit drugs but may not be aware of the many "lows". Illicit drug use is a concern because it poses a threat to their health. Negative effects vary depending on the type of drug consumed, the doses taken and the frequency of use. All illicit drugs have immediate physical effects, but they can also severely hinder psychological and emotional development, especially among young people. Leading a healthy lifestyle requires making choices that are espectful of body and mind. To make these choices, young people need guidance from role models and need to get the facts about drug use. The campaign provides young people and others with tools to educate themselves about the health risks associated with illicit drug use.

The Helping Hand
The helping hand is a project that will be run into several phases and each phase include six weeks of volunteering, training with NGOs and working with them. Our basic mission is to protect and promote the rights of persons with disabilities by ensuring that they are not subject to discriminatory practices. We also want to support them in achieving their full potential and be representative in all spheres of life. The helping hand project will help in breaking the barriers, which means that we will teach the society to look at the disabled in a new way.
We believe that, even though people have disabilities, they can still bring happiness, they can be fully creative, make full use of their potential and we want to let them know that they are not alone and that they can also have access to one of the most important basic need which is “love.”
Smart Agriculture
Smart Agriculture aims at exposing international interns from all over the world to the concept of sustainable agriculture for them to be able to contribute to their country’s food security through establishment of home gardens.
The participants will be exposed to each pillar of agriculture through courses followed by a site visit relative to the agricultural sector they have covered. After each site visit the
participants are expected to write a comparative report from what they have learnt from their site visit and what happens in their individual country.
Save a Dog, Save a Life
Choose Life Not Drugs

Save a Dog, Save a Life is a project during which AIESEC UTM aims at sensitizing Mauritian about how the stray dogs influence the society as well as taking concrete steps to remedy the actual situation
This project revolves around the protection of stray dogs and the environment of Mauritius by trying to reduce the rate of stray dogs in the country. Such aims can be achieved through sterilization and mass awareness campaigns. Adoption campaigns also form parts of the project and these will allow the strays to find a foster/forever shelter.

The project aim is to encourage Mauritians to protect their environment by applying some Marine pollution control. Pollution is the addition to the ecosystem of something which has a detrimental effect on it.
Without pollution control, the waste products from consumption, heating, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation and other human activities, whether they accumulate or disperse, will degrade the
environment.
